Wind Speed I see two different groups. First is starts about -20 latitude and ends about 0 Which would cover North USA area lower Canada. Second area starts at 20 latitude and moves to 65 latitude now this are covers all of the USA and in to south America. In this two areas the wind speed is from 0 to approx 10 mph. now there is higher speeds but nothing that I can see looks like a pattern for higher windspeed.
